The last chapter

Well kids finally stop teasing her. Life is going normal finally. Until one day she goes to babysit, some one had put acid in some peanuts basically setting her up. She went absolutely nuts. She was tripping out. She thought maggots were trying to eat her and there were bugs all over her. She thinks there was someone else in the house because she got locked in a closet and pushed down stairs. When she was in the closet she pulled out all her hair and destroyed her hands because she was trying to scratch her way out of the closet. She got sent to a mental hospital, because Jan and the other kids testified against her. She starts getting better in the institution meets new people, hears new stories. When she gets out of the institution her life is somewhat better. She decides to not keep a diary anymore. At the end of the book you think her life is better. But in the epilogue It states that the subject of the book had died 3 weeks after she decided not to keep a diary. SUICIDE. My opinion no one should ever commit suicide especially an OD no ones family would want there loved one to go down that. This book is definitely an eyeopener. Its unbelievable how much drugs can change a persons life. And this girl is just one of the thousands that has had horrible experiences like this...

A new diary a new life. She decides to end her bad habits, she returns back to school and everything seems the same right? But it doesn’t stay that way for long. Kids at her school are really hassling her to get back into the drug world. They start calling her names bumping into her. She feels alone once again like in the beginning of the book. To top things off her grandpa dies, then shortly after her grandma does too. She thought the bullying had stopped but she was wrong. This girl named Jan thinks she told on her and warned her that she would be getting her back. Jan has spread ugly rumors about her because all the kids laugh and sneer at her. They start threatening her by telling her to tell her sister not to take candy from strangers, they were going to plant some pot in her dads car, they even but a burning roach in her locker, and to top it off they start hiding joints in her stuff. Oh but one good thing though is that she met a college boy named Joel. That some what keeps her sane along with her diary.
She returns home and her family is really happy she’s there. They start treating her like an adult now, but she can not deal with her drug problem its just getting worse and worse. Epically now that many of her “friends” are getting caught. The police is getting harder, they even raided Chris’s house while she was there. Now they are both on probation and can’t see each other. She still manages to get her fix though. Finally she can’t take it anymore and runs away to Denver. In Denver she lives with a couple of kids, and they’re going to Oregon. She’s living like a bum. Same clothes, stringy greasy hair, living from bench to bench. She meets this girl named Doris, she too is a druggie. They start parting and living the high life but eventually they have no more pot left. They went to ultimate lows giving blow jobs just for a high. She finally gets sick of it all and goes and talks to a priest, he calls her parents and finally goes back home. To end this part of her life she decides to start a whole new diary, one that she shouldn’t be ashamed of. This is her new chapter..
